The material
All our work starts with one material: 9 mm PET-felt, made from shredded PET bottles. Soft to the touch, surprisingly sturdy, and acoustically exactly what an echoing room needs.
The process
It starts with used PET bottles, collected, sorted and cleaned in distribution centres.
The bottles are shredded into small flakes. About 150 bottles go into one sheet.
The flakes are spun into threads and woven into soft mats. Under heat the sheet gets its colour and its strength.
Our CNC machine cuts the sheets to a tenth of a millimetre, straight from the drawing. Bevelled edges and fine details are no problem.
We assemble the cut design, often in several colours, and pack it carefully for shipping or on-site installation.

Why PET-felt
Because PET-felt is made from recycled bottles, plastic gets a second life with us. And that second life is more beautiful than the first. As long as PET bottles are littering nature, we stay motivated to turn them into something better.
