Viltr from Hellevoetsluis among the 100 most innovative companies in the Netherlands
Viltr, specialist in acoustic walls and product development with recycled PET-felt, is listed in the KVK Innovation Top 100 of 2026. The annual list by the Netherlands Chamber of Commerce (KVK) is seen as the leading benchmark for innovation among Dutch SMEs. Viltr is included in the Circular Economy category.
From its own CNC workshop on Hopperweg, the company designs, cuts and installs applications made of 9 millimetre thick PET-felt, a material made entirely from recycled PET bottles. Viltr is the only company in the Netherlands that focuses fully on this one material.
It started with acoustic wall panels that take reverb and echo out of living rooms, offices and restaurants, sold through its own web shop viltstore.com and as custom work for architects and businesses. Today the company also develops new felt products that did not exist before, from phone holders to TV stands on wheels, for its own collection and for other brands.

It is not the first time the people behind Viltr have made this list: their previous company OTFLOW was also included in the KVK Innovation Top 100 in 2019.
